A New World Order : Democrism – The Third Economic System Theory and Practice Distinction between Democracy and Democrism : Democracy is associated with a political system. It denotes a particular type of government which is created by the people by franchising their right to vote to elect their governing representatives directly or indirectly through a political party system. President Abraham Lincoln in his Gettysburg speech (19 November, 1863) defined democracy as the ‘Government of the People-by the people-for the people’. On the other hand Democrism is the word coined by me to denote an economic system for differentiating it from Capitalism and Communism.
